This is a fully interactive map of my entire bikepacking journey around the world, over 80,000 kilometres of cycling through more than 70 countries.
You can zoom in and follow the routes I've taken, and if you click on specific routes (or click on the button in the top left part of the map) you can view the specific details of each route, as well as comments I've added, and links to videos or blog posts relevant to each section.
Note that some of the older sections from my first year or two riding around the world may not be 100% accurate as I wasn't tracking my route back then. This mainly applies to sections in Asia and parts of Europe. Check the notes for each section - I've made a note wherever this may apply.
Also note that, again especially in the case of the earlier part of my journey, the route I chose wasn't necessarily the best, sometimes I was just taking the most direct routes or whatever seemed best at the time. Check the comments I've added - I've noted where routes are or are not recommended.
Finally, a disclaimer: please don't just blindly follow my routes without doing the research first. I often take on very challenging and remote routes which sometimes require many days of food and water carry, a very high level of bike and gear preparation, strong fitness, and the skillset and experience to do these things safely. Many of these routes have been very remote, some have been dangerous. Again, check the comments I've added, and if in doubt feel free to send me a message.
